6 Best Places to Get Coffee in Phoenix, AZ

Kaylie’s Coffee Crawl – Phoenix/Scottsdale Edition

One of my favorite parts of traveling is discovering new coffee shops. No latte is alike, believe me. Whether you visit a coffee shop in Dallas, TX or Rome, Italy, you are bound to have a different experience. I’m a lover of coffee and that’s why I decided to start my Coffee Crawl series. I’ll be recapping my favorite shops in different places all over the world. I challenge you to grab a cup and settle in as we explore.

This week I’m dishing on the 6 best places to grab your morning cup of Joe in my home city – Phoenix, AZ. Let’s get sipping!

Sip Coffee

Located in the Arcadia neighborhood, Sip Coffee & Beer Garage is the perfect spot to spend a summer day. The baristas know their stuff and the vibe is super calm and chill. I highly recommend ordering their cold brew on tap with a splash of almond milk (it’s addicting!). I’ve spent an entire day sitting quietly working on my laptop, as it is a great place for creatives to connect and get work done. But beware, when the clock strikes 4pm this coffee shop can get a bit rowdy as their downstairs turns into a tiki-style cocktail bar. A coffee shop that serves coffee and alcohol – I know, sounds too good to be true! Whether you are looking to order a basic latte, craft beer, or liquor infused espresso martini, Sip will have the drink for you.

Teaspressa

There are two Teaspressa locations I frequently visit, one in downtown PHX and one in Arcadia. You truly cannot go wrong with either of them. Decked out like a flower shop or boutique, the Arcadia Teaspressa is an Instagram influencer’s dream. Their drinks are beautifully created with flowers or sparkles, and don’t get me started on their toast options. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed. The downtown location has a simplistic look and feels more hipster than the Arcadia location. No matter which location you choose to visit, you will want to enjoy your drink inside the creatively crafted shop. Also, be sure to snag a photo by their LED lights!

Arcadia:

Luci’s At the Orchard

If you are looking for a unique coffee experience, look no further than Luci’s At the Orchard. This place could not be any cuter! From the moment you walk on their grounds, you’ll be surrounded by outdoor seating, a splash pad, and an ice cream parlor. Inside there are so many fun trinkets, games, and random Arizona-based gifts you can purchase. Not only do they have great tasting coffee options, but they also serve smoothies, brunch food, and bloody Marys that will keep you coming back time and time again.

Hours: Monday – Sunday 6am-8pm

Růže Cake House

I try and treat all coffeeshops equal but I have to shout this place out from the rooftops! Ruze Cake House, technically in Scottsdale, is so stinkin’ cute and the staff could not be more genuine and caring. Every time I visit, I am greeted with a smile and talked into trying out a new drink. From their lavender vanilla bean latte to their cookie butter dirty chai, these drinks are heaven on earth. Not to mention most of their drinks are served with a cotton candy finish. Do not leave your camera at home! You will want to snap photos of every corner of this place. If you choose to visit for their coffee, pastries, or sweet lemonade boba drinks, be prepared to wait in line as this is a blogger goldmine. Make sure you pick up a macaroon or two before heading out.

Address: 7033 E Main St #100, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 9am-4pm; Friday + Saturday 9am-6pm; Sunday 9am-5pm

Daily Drip

Daily Drip, located in Glendale, is pretty new to town, but from the looks of it is bound to be successful. The shop is spacious with lots of seating and they offer specialties that no other coffee place have. If you’ve ever heard of latte art (visit any shop in LA) then you will love Daily Drip as they excel at it. They brew their coffee locally and offer a wide variety of treats, like macaroons, gelato, and crepes! It’s definitely worth checking out!

Hours: Monday – Sunday 8am-8pm

The Henry

As if I don’t talk about The Henry enough, it has to make my top list for coffee. Many locals know The Henry for their delicious food but inside is their own coffee bar that will satisfy any caffeine craving you may have. This is one of my favorite places to “work from home” as it keeps me fueled all day long. Their menu is extensive offering espresso, smoothies, and chai. Everyone seems to be addicted to the Wildflower, but I have yet to try it. I truly think you can’t go wrong with any of their options. Be sure to order the Caramel Apple French Toast if you start to get hungry!

Address: 4455 E. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85018

Hours: Sunday – Thursday 8am-9pm; Friday + Saturday 8am-10pm

Coffee Bar open at 7am daily.

There are so many amazing places to snag a coffee in Phoenix and its surrounding areas. These are my favorite six places but I’d love to hear where you get your caffeine fix!
